Smart List Status

We have Sugar and Marketo integration and are wondering what will happen if we have a smart list in place for a campaign and we change the status of one of the leads in sugar (that are already in the smart list). Does Marketo pick up that the status has changed and the lead should no longer be included in the campaign? Please let me know.

Tashmeem Mirza​ smart lists are dynamic and will select the group of leads that meets the criteria at the time they are referenced. So if you have a campaign that is scheduled to run, the smart list criteria will be evaluated at the time the campaign runs, and any leads who qualify at that time will be included.

So presuming the status change has synched over to Marketo, it will be factored in when the smart list runs.

However, if the lead has already qualified and is in the flow of the campaign, they won't be removed if they have a change in status. If this is what you want to happen, you will need to have a separate triggered campaign listening for the status change that will remove the lead from the flow.
