Hello,
I'm a new Marketo user that was brought on to manage my company's instance of Marketo and Salesforce. I'm trying to determine via a Smart List if a lead in Marketo already existed in Salesforce as a lead/contact. The sync between Marketo and Salesforce is already configured.
Thanks!
Are you looking to pull a list of all records synced to SFDC, or determine if a specific record is synced?
In a smart list, there are a few ways to do this, but you can use the filter SFDC Type is not empty to pull a list of everyone who's been synced. Might be worth adding SFDC Is Deleted = FALSE as an additional filter in case any of them were removed.
To verify for a specific record, go to the Info tab on a person record and look for these two fields.
Rachel,
Thanks for your insight. I'm think I didn't articulate my question very well. Currently all leads are synced with SFDC. However I'm trying to determine how many of our leads in Marketo already had a record in Salesforce prior to being synced. I'm not sure if that helps clarify my questions at all.
Try looking for Original Source Type = salesforce.com. That shows all the
records that were created in SFDC and then synced to Marketo. Hopefully
that is closer to what you were looking for!
