Sending multiple signature emails using the new email tool

Hi everyone,

I would like to use the new email (tiles) program to send out my next few email programs.  I would love to send out emails with dynamic signatures depending on who the lead owner is.  Currently, I set up two emails and create a workflow that sends the correct email depending on the lead owner.  

Can I send multiple emails using the new email program?  I can see that I can add additional workflows if needed, but when I use the tile to select the email, it only allows me to select one.

Has anyone used the new program enough to answer this question?

Seems like you could just use a token for the signature (text part) of your email and send just one email with multiple lead owner info...If the part of the signature that you want to by dynamic is a pic you could just use segmentation to make the email dynamic, calling a different image based on lead owner...

I am using a token for the signature in one of the emails.  The other email has a separate signature as a default.  The only way I could use one email is if the lead owner was populated with the default -- and it is not currently.  I really don't have the time to repopulate the lists just to take advantage of one email at this point.

The bigger question for me is -- can I utilize two emails in the new email program.  Do you happen to know this?  I can call support tomorrow if no one happens to know the answer.

Hey Patty - Save yourself the trouble and use Dynamic Content! First setup a Segmentation, if Owner = Rep X Y Z. Then in your email use the "default signature", click on the text area and segment content dynamically. If the signature is its own "mktEditable" section it can be dynamic independent of your main content. Then "Segment BY" the Owner Segment. Then put in each's rep's information. If you clone from that email program you never have to do it again.

No problem using dynamic content/segmentations in new email programs.

Hi Ramesh and Adam,

This would be great if I could use segmentation.  Unfortunately we have serious data issues, so I must use a static, imported list.  That means I have the data I have... meaning I don't have the ability to populate fields that weren't populated when the list was pulled.  As much as I wish this was as easy as just creating a segmentation, it is not that simple.

I do use tokens in version A of the email, and I use a hard-coded email in version B.  then I use flow steps to determine deliverability (if lead owner = x, then deliver the dynamic or the hard-coded email).

So... back to my original question: Does anyone know if we can use multiple emails in the new email tool???

No Patty, you can not do what you want to do in the new email program, you'll need to keep using a regular program.

Personally I'd spend my time focused on resolving my data issues so I wasn't constantly importing lists and creating multiple versions of emails. This is Marketing Automation after all.

Hi again Adam,

We're talking about millions of duplications and a data hierarchy that isn't simple to define or manage.  All of this was complicated when we recently migrated to SFDC.   Everyone here understands that resolving our data issue is priority number one, and everyone on the data team is focused on a fix and an easy merge in the works.  It's not just an issue of cleaning up dupes -- we have a very complicated data hierarchy.

But until the issue is resolved, I still have to generate leads.  Hence my original question.  Can I use two emails.  But no worries, I will call support.

No Patty, you can not do what you want to do in the new email program, you'll need to keep using a regular program.

As I stated above. No, you can't do what you want and use the new email program's delivery functionality.
