Sending Emails on certain days of the week only

So I was thinking this must be the easiest thing to do in Marketo........but not at all!!

All I want to do is schedule emails to go out on Monday, Wednesday and Friday for new leads who enter our system. I was hoping the Wait function would allow you to add a choice and say when not to send, but this isnt the case! 

Anyone have any ideas how you might get around this issue? 

**note leads are created, the first of 5 mails is to be sent on the closest Mon, Wed or Fri, then after that the 4 remaining mails will be sent on either the following Monday, Wed or Friday.....

Barry - I'd recommend you take a look at the Program Type = Engagement, Channel = Engagement Program. This program type allows you to select specific days that you'd like your emails to be sent. You'd need to create an entry campaign as part of the program that would be a Trigger listening for any new leads & you could add additional filters if you wanted. Then your flow would add these leads to your stream. In your stream you would set the cadence to be M, W, F @ whatever time of day you prefer. Add your emails to the stream & activate everything. The stream is 'smart' in that it won't resend the same email to a lead that's part of that stream. Hope this helps!
