Hello all,
We are building segments in our database. When creating one of our segments, I see that we are missing a salesforce filter (filter is "Has Account Relationship"). It's odd because the filter is available in smart lists but not in segments. I have checked salesforce permissions and the object sync and all looks good.
Does anyone why segments may not be able to pull in certain filters?
Thanks!

There are a large number of filters that are unavailable in Segment Smart Lists yet available in Standalone SLs or Smart Campaign-linked SLs.
Broadly, Segment SLs can only use flat data fields or program or list memberships. They can’t use custom or standard object lookup relationships, nor anything that would require an activity log lookback, nor any time axes (which would require constant adjustment).
You can of course run a daily batch SC that updates a flat field (such as Has Account Relationship As Of) and then base your Segment SL on Has Account Relationship As Of [is not empty].

Thank you!
You're right; it's peculiar that Marketo Engage segments lack the "Has Account Relationship" filter, yet smart lists do. Establish a custom field: You might make a custom field in Marketo that indicates the "Has Account Relationship" status depending on particular parameters if your Marketo account permits custom fields. After that, segmentation might be done using this custom field.
Employ a campaign in batches: To base your Segment Smart List on the value of a flat field (such as "Has Account Relationship As Of"), think about utilizing a daily batch campaign to update it.
Speak with Marketo customer service: If none of the aforementioned options have worked for you, contact Marketo support for more help. They are able to look into the problem that is unique to your account and make recommendations.
if your Marketo account permits custom fields.
All Marketo instances support custom fields.
Also seems like your reply is largely a (AI?) rephrasing of my reply above. Please don’t do that.
