REST API response order of CreateUpdateLeads and AddCustomActivities

When submitting multiple records at a time to either the REST endpoint for CreateUpdateLeads or AddCustomActivities, the response contains multiple results. Are the result items ordered to match how my request items were submitted? I'm trying to match my request items to the result items.

I got a response back from Marketo Support saying that results ordered in the response will match the same order as the items sent in the request.
