Re: Report on mobile users opening emails

I realized that at the individual activity/record level, Marketo records if a user opened an email on mobile or PC. Is there a way to run a report on this metric, sort of like we do for our website properties in Google analytics?

You can create a report with custom columns of smart lists to show opens by moblie platform.
Create a few several smart list with each having a filter of Email Open, and use a constraint of Platform and select the OS you want for that smart list.

Then create a lead report and go to set up and add your smart lists as custom columns, group by region or country or what works best for you. In your smart list section of your report you can reduce the number by when leads open emails is any in last 7 days etc.

Hope that helps

Hi Ed-

In the example above, your Smart List filter is "Opened Email", correct? If so, then for each report, you need to include a list of specific emails in each OS Smart List. If creating several reports, this gets very cumbersome. Hopefully I'm missing something here. Thanks!

This is a quick, high-level report on any email over a specific timeframe.

You can filter for specific emails, but your right its more cumbersome. I would only create for certain (executives wanted it specifically) emails.
