We had a field with the onboarding date for clients that we couldn't use for our renewal campaign because the dates were in the past, so we created a month field and I was hoping to use, We would have all the emails go out at the beginning of the renewal month. However, it looks like Marketo doesn't support using a month for wait steps and renewal campaigns. Has anyone had any luck with this, or do I need to have our IT create a field with the upcoming renewal date?
Also, I have seem some dated examples of renewal campaigns, but if someone has a recent example, I would love to see it--thanks!

There's an option available in the advanced wait properties to allow people to qualify on a yearly basis, suitable for cases like yours (renewal campaigns), birthday campaigns, etc. This property essentially allows you to reference the date tokens with dates in the past. Did you try exploring the option of using that option with your original date token in the first place? Apologies, if I'm missing anything here.

No, I did not realize that would work--thank you so much!
