"Already in Database"

Hello,

I need to send out an email with these requirements:

ALL

-Member of uploaded list

-Already in the database

What filter would I use?

Re: "Already in Database"

Member of list is all you need.  If they're not in the DB, they won't be a member of the list.

Re: "Already in Database"

I need to find out who is in the list that was uploaded that was already in the database.

Re: "Already in Database"

Hi Casey,

The best way that I can think of for you to do this is to filter by the person was created filter and set that date to be before the day you imported the list. Because of Marketo's de-duping capabilities, it will just update the lead record to the preexisting lead when you upload them via list import if they were already in the database. So if you set the person was created filter to before the day you imported the new list, it should tell you who was already in the Marketo database prior to your new list upload. Hope this helps!

Re: "Already in Database"

Hi Courtney and Casey,

The person was created is a good start, but the date is not the correct constraint. Use the "List Name" constraint instead.

And read this, it's all documented
