Re: "add to calendar" token -- 404 Page not found

I've been fighting with a "save the date" token in ane email for 4 days now.  Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.  Anyone else having the same issue?

I've  deleted the text and re-placed the token.
I've deleted the entire token, re-created it, and then placed it within the email.

There is no rhyme or reason to any of it.  Thoughts?

So when I reviewed the link via the preview it gave me a 404.  But I sent a test via an actual record and it worked fine.  Might just be that you can't preview it.

Hope that helps.

@ Lyssette -- unfortunately, I never completely solved the problem.  I ended up removing the token for fear it would fail in the actual email.

I'm having the same issue when I preview the save the date token by my static list.  Maybe it isn't previewable?

I do not have any special characters in my subject line.  @Sandy did you ever figure this issue out?

My subject line reads:  Scott Heimes presentation.

The token is named:  Save the date Heimes Prezo

I was going to ask the same as Jim, are you using a special character in the subject line of that token?

Hi Sandy,

When I've come across issues like this, usually its due to special characters breaking the URL. What does your subject line look like if you do not mind posting it here?

While I don't have a good reason, I find that the "add to calendar" function is rather spotty, and sometimes works on my computer (Mac) and not my colleagues (Outlook). At many points we've given up and gone back to using the .ics file.
