Questions about sync to Salesforce

Hi Marketo Community!
 ..pardon my english

This is maybe some easy quetions, but I have to be clear. 

Our settings in in marketo about Salesforce is this:



We use Marketo Sales Insight in Salesforce, so everytime a lead become "qualified" it should sync to Salesforce and into our Sales Insight. Does this happens automatic, or must I make (under my smart campaign>Flow>"Sync Lead to SFDC" before the lead will be sync to SF?

I could see that any of yesterdays leads where syncronized, so I manuel used Lead ACtions > sync lead to SF.

Hi Mads,

New leads created in Marketo need to be initially synced to SFDC, They need to go through one of the SFDC flow actions. Once initially synced any updates will be synced automatically.

But Marketo also sync with marketo efter 24 hours through the admin settings? Am I right?

Marketo syncs with Salesforce?

Normally that sync is at 5 minute intervals unless you have asked support to change it.

Marketo does not sync leads in Marketo unless you tell it to with a sync flow step (Sync, Change Owner, Add to SFDC Campaign) or if you connect a Program to an SFDC Campaign.

AFTER the lead is passed to Marketo, then yes, it syncs every 5 minutes.

I recommend syncing all leads unless your SFDC owner has good reasons not to.
