Question about custom field types

I was wondering if there's a specific custom field type that I can use so that it can display a list of entries associated with a lead rather than concatenating it into a string. We're currently using this data for filters for our emails and would like to be able to use a drop down select box to select/unselect specific values.

Currently, we're storing the values as a comma-delimited string. Does Marketo treat a string with semi colons differently?

you mean a multi select that's not a String with semi colons?

You can't really do a multi select in Marketo. You can do a picklist in SFDC or use a String field.
