We have duplicate email addresses in our database. Is there any way to pull in a smart list that dedupes- providing the counts for unique email addresses?

Hi Jamie,
No, there is none
You can easily have a mart lists of the people that do not have any duplicates, using a "member of smart list - NOT IN - Possible Duplicates" filter.
But to count the unique email addresses, I extract the duplicate list and dedupe it in Excel.

Thanks Greg. I actually pulled from Marketo into Access. All in all it's a lot of work.

And Grégoire Michel while I'm at it.
But it counts the total of emails, not the number of unique addresses.
And then, you can export the report and count the lines in Excel.

But I wouldn't call this "a lot of work"! You don't have to do anything but open it in Excel to see the line count.
Agreed!
Actually, you don't even need to export to get the count...
... although like with any report you may need to export just to see all the results.
Wow! That is brilliant, Sanford! Thank you so much!
If I'm understanding this correctly, this could provide a sweet visual into how many leads are subscribed to multiple newsletters.
And hopefully, better understand just how many of those people get lost during a global unsubscribe.
So grateful!
