The above image is the bane of my existence.
Go ahead and try to click on the correct orange bubble to see a successful marketing interaction. I'll give you $20 if you can.
Easy solution: make the white/green "check boxes" clickable with the same data that exists inside the orange bubble.
Please, God...
Edit: Please move to the idea section if needed, thanks!
A few ways you could make this more usable:
- Go to the Setup tab and remove out any email interactions, analyze those on their own. This will help you see what high value touches you have (email is generally not very high value)
- Change the timeline - the green area is your opportunity so the steps taken Jan 2018 when it closed July 2017 are probably not as relevant unless you have a 2nd opportunity (cross sell) opening. I'd focus on the steps before the oppt opens and while it's open.
That being said I 100% agree with you that Opp Analyzer is difficult to use and when the bubbles start to overlap, it's frustrating.
Christina,
Both good points, but the image was really just an example I was giving. We have accounts with 100+ employees linked (not just on the opportunity, as we are trying to veer towards a full ABM model), so this is a pretty common occurrence. trying to navigate through those damn orange bubbles is a nightmare...
curious to see if MPI will alleviate some of this... I have a demo next week
Totally agree here. In fact, the OIA isn‘t very useful for companies like us (large global organization, with thousands of accounts - many with > 25 opportunities. Really a hope a more suitable approach will be developed that aligns to the Marketo ABM product.
On a positive note, you sure have a lot of engagement taking place in your accounts!
Yep. to be fair, most of the RCA/OIA/Etc reporting for an enterprise size business doesn't really hit our needs. It's why I just had to dish out several hundred thousand dollars for a two year contract with bizible.
But, until Bizible is implemented, I've been tasked with grinding out some research on marketing influence based on a few segments that RCA can't work with, so I have to do it manually...one at a time...removing certain contact roles...searching for duplicates in our database...with one of the slowest features in Marketo...etc...
Good stuff.
Thanks for the reply, Dan!
Yikes - didn't realize Bizible was as expensive as our Marketo license! We're looking for advanced attribution platforms - like Bizible - to bring into our tech stack later this year.
Yeah, you might be able to get it cheaper, but their out of box functionality didn't necessarily cover all the needs of an enterprise business (surprise, surprise).
We whittled our search down to Bizible and Brightfunnel. Probably want to start your search there.
Ross Safko Would you mind sharing what "holes" you found when looking at Bizible?
