Hi,
Help please!
I sent an email to 208,000 people count. The email was sent to 170,000 people. It was delivered to 168,000. There concern is, there are 38,000 people who did not receive the email and are not account for. How do I pull a report to see what happened and why the 38,000 people didn't get the email?
Thank you,
Imani
Hi there,
It is likely caused due to duplicate leads in your Marketo instance. Marketo will not send to duplicates but counts them as unique names in a Smartlist.
Check your duplicate leads report in your Database section and see how you can start working to remove them. This is a half answer since it's the only reason I know this should occur. Someone else chime in if there's something I missed.
Thank you for your help Justin. I looked into the database and did find a couple hundred duplicates. However, there aren't 38,000 duplicates. Are there any other reasons why this may have happened?
There's plenty of smart list filters you can use to determine the cause of the issue -
Also this could be very easily done using Email Insights in your instance as well -
Content and then Email Send will get you to the list of delivered emails to search through.
This information is helpful. Thank you Justin.
