PDF file in Design Studio became corrupted

So I have a PDf file in design studio that was working fine the last 2 weeks. All of a sudden it became corrupted. The email link to download the PDF is fine, but the PDF was corrupted.  Did anyone else experience this?  We tested before sending the email and it was fine. The name on the PDF was even changed to something different when you try to download it.

Hi Michelle,

yes, we've experienced the same issues several times. Sometimes, simply re-uploading the pdf solves the issue for us.  Perhaps if you remove all the spaces in the pdf name it might also help.  Please let me know if Marketo provides any surefire "fixes" for this issue. Thanks, and good luck!

Has support ever given you a reason why that would happend?  Our PDF naming convention never has any spaces and are formatted correctly.  But at least I'm not alone on this.

No, I don't think we actually got any type of concrete explanation for the corruption - and we didn't keep pursuing that one issue because we found work-arounds (and had bigger issues to deal with). There are seemingly a lot of "quirks" that we've come across when working in Marketo. I just posted another today. I always feel like we're alone too, because each time we submit a case, it seems the answer we get from our rep is "we've never heard of that issue before" or "none of our other clients have reported that." LOL But they have worked pretty hard at resolving what they can, and admittedly, it's likely some of the issues we have are due to us not knowing certain HTML coding or functions. But yes, the pdf corruption was a head-scratcher all around.
