Opt-In plugin that works with Marketo?

Hello!

We're trying to find a pop-up lightbox plugin that works natively with Marketo and WordPress. Previously we used Hybrid Connect and loved it, but we can't figure out a way to connect the folks who opt-in there to our Marketo list without the manual process of uploading a new list of leads every day/week/whenever.

We tried to use a Marketo form in a lightbox to preform the same function but first we had trouble adding any kind of delay and then we couldn't determine how to add a cookie so that folks didn't see the opt-in form every time. Marketo Support declined to help with this...

How have you done your digital opt-in campaigns? Can anyone recommend some kind of plug-in? Also would be interested in any fixes using Marketo forms in a lightbox.

Off the top of my head, you could have a lightbox form (forms 2.0 makes these simple enough) for opt-in. On the confirmation page you can set your own cookie for the submitter. Use that cookie on your site to prevent the opt-in form from displaying again.
