Opportunity Influence Analyzer - Not All Opportunities Showing

Friday Question #2 - possibly related to my first question about RCM & Success Path Analyzer.

 

When searching for Opportunities in the Opportunity Influence Analyzer (I'm setting up a few reports to show leadership as examples of how helpful this report can be in showing Marketing influence on Closed/Won Opps), it appears that there are Opportunities missing in the list after selecting an Account to review (the time frame is "All Time").

 

I'm using MS Dynamics alongside the report to check I'm pulling the right information and here are the issues I'm noticing:

 

  • There are multiple versions of the same Account despite there only being one showing in MS Dynamics (they each have different IDs shown at the end of the name - I'm assuming Marketo is still seeing a deactivated Account?)
  • Using an example Account, when I select the correct one (verified by said ID in MS Dynamics), I get an on-page popup that tells me there were no activities on the account during the selected time frame:

    • After closing that window, not only do I see Opportunities listed but there are only 2 of them (there are 10 listed in MS Dynamics BUT the company set up a new instance in 2022/2023 and we set up a new Marketo instance to go along with it, so I realize that Opps older than that year probably wouldn't show in Marketo?)
    • One of the two Opportunities isn't showing in MS Dynamics (wondering if this is an Opportunity that was removed/deleted and/or if a name change might not have synced to Marketo?)

I'm not sure if this is related to the RCM/Success Path Analyzer because this report doesn't connect to (or ask for) the model in order to run it and I've popped into this report before to get a visual on it (but never done any digging until now).

 

If there's any other information I can provide to get some insights on this, I'm happy to do so; otherwise, would love anyone's suggestions on what might be up so that I can adjust/accommodate and get this in front of leadership (I want to demonstrate Marketo's usefulness in reporting for marketing influence on deals as MS Dynamics doesn't do it well).
