Hi,
I'm looking for a way to have a consolidated email report like the one you get with email campaigns, but for nurture campaigns. Right now all I've found is creating a separate smart list for each criteria I want to look at. Is there something I'm missing?
Solved! Go to Solution.
Put all the emails in the same default program's smart campaign. From there you can access the results tab of that 1 campaign to see the cumulative results.
Thanks... I'll have to put some effort into building the right default campaign and smart campaigns, but I think it's the better way for us.
Thanks again Joseph and Gregoire
That makes sense. Thanks
Is there anything lost by not using an engagement program, just so I'm aware of the disadvantages as well.
You will lose a couple things:
As you can see there will be some trade-offs but if you have a set comm flow that will not be altered frequently you should be fine.

I had considered that as well... if doing it that way, is there a way to pull a report for a group of default programs, like a faux "stream"?
Put all the emails in the same default program's smart campaign. From there you can access the results tab of that 1 campaign to see the cumulative results.
ok, I think I got it
You could do that but you will still need to go into each program to pull the results. Depending on how many emails you have this could be time consuming.
I was thinking more along the lines of decommissioning your current nurture program and rebuilding the campaign as a default program. You can add all emails to the flow and use wait steps to control the cadence.
sorry not ignoring - the email performance report doesn't drill down. Is there a way to drill down?
Looking for something closer to this, that shows each interaction on one report. Joseph, can I get this from a smart campaign?
Yes, you will be able to access the results tab in the smart campaign.
I'm trying to avoid having a smart list for each criteria - open, click, etc.
Is there a way to have one report like the activity log for nurture campaigns - what if we nested a generic campaign?
Need this for a management report on campaigns to have a nice one size fits all report that doesn't require the use of excel to create.
Again, why aren't you using an email performance report? I already suggested this 3 times, and you seem to ignore it. Is there something wrong with this solution ?

You can migrate the emails into a default program if you wanted and deploy them via a smart campaign. You would then be able to use the results tab of the smart campaign if needed.
I'm looking for this report
Michael,
The results tab does not exist within nurture programs. If you need to know which leads performed certain actions then smartlists are going to be the only way to do this within the nurture programs.
Hi Michael,
This is not a report, this is an activity log, from a smart campaign. and indeed, you cannot have the same in an engagement program. But why would you need this level of detailed info?
An email performance or email click performance report would probably be better.

Hi Michael,
Please move this question to Products where it belongs. Marketing Central is for generic marketing questions.
I am not sure I understand the issue: if you use email performance reports, you can set it to show all the emails in an engagement program. Unless you do not want to use email performance reports? or you are not using engagement programs for your nurturing?
can you please provide more details?
-Greg
We are using nurture programs, however I can't seem to get the same consolidated report that you get if you use the email campaign - control panel - view results - that report that shows each piece of info.
When using a nurture program, I need to create a list to get one piece of the data. And I do that for each criteria - bounce, clicked link, performance, etc.
Hi Michael,
Just add an email performance report to the program and filter it to get only the emails in your engagement program. It will not show in the summary, but it will give the same info, unless I missed something.
