Merging a contact and a lead

Hello,

Is there anyway you can merge a contact with a lead? For some reason some of our contacts got duplicated as leads when they were entered in Marketo, but we aren't able to merge them together. The error we receive does not describe what is going on. Any help would be great!

You can always submit a ticket to support and see if they have a more concrete reason that may have happened.

Thanks Kristen, I will try that. Yes, that was the error I received in Marketo.

You can only merge within Salesforce using a product like CRM fusion or directly in the lead database, but you'll have to do them one at a time. Is that the error you got when you tried to merge them?
