Members tab - can't sort certain columns, why?

I have multiple views that I regularly use in the "MEMBERS" tab of my programs etc. and it is very annoying that I can't sort certain columns A>Z but certain others it is greyed out. Is this usual behavior? Why the limitation?

Yes, it is mostly with custom columns that are unique to your instance. I think Marketo doesn't have the ability to know which kind of field it is and how to sort it. Unsure why.

I've noticed it with custom columns only - just out of curiosity, is this the case with everyone else?  Default Marketo fields seem to sort fine, it's jsut custom ones that have been created that are the issue...

+1 on this. It's very inconvenient not to be able to sort by some columns. Seems like there's no rhyme or reason to it.

True. Several, it seems. Marketo says "it's complicated". Not sure why.

I have this problem as well with some columns. It is a limitation in the UI. I bet there is an idea for it to get fixed.
