Mass removal of field

Hi,

Can we mass removal the field from all the form/smart list where the field is in use.

I have one duplicate field in system. The problem is that the field is in use in number of different forms and smart list and its not allowing me to change the field name also. Please suggest.

Hi Harrish,

No, this is not possible, very unfortunately.

When you connect Marketo to a CRM a few months or years after starting to use it, it's not one but tens if not hundreds fields that need to be decommissioned. I had to do it a few times and I promise you, you end up cursing the product designers. It's not just forms, its also smart lists and flow steps.

There quite a few ideas about this:

The REST API provides an endoint to manipulate forms, so may be a developper sometimes will do something about it:
