Mask Input Passing ______ instead of phone number

HI,

We use mask input on a required phone number field and in a few instances the form has passed __________ rather than a phone number, suspect its just glitch but happens fairly frequently is there anything we can do?

This definitely should not be a regular (or even occasional) occurrence with the input mask polyfill. It's basic, to be sure, but not this badly broken. Do you have other custom form behaviors JS that is possibly hijacking the form post and/or field update? What's a sample URL where has been happening?
