I am looking for feedbacks on reportings between Marketo and Salesforce.
How do you build your reports ? What are your feedbacks on the subject ?

that's an incredibly open ended question.
In general terms, I work with clients to have robust and regular data extracts into a database (which one isn't critical) so that reports can be build in the tool of your choice (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc).
Make sure your extracts include an ID that let's you harmonise reporting across the two platforms (i.e. have a SFDC ID mirror field in Marketo, and ensure that's included in your Marketo lead extracts so that you can link Marketo leads to Salesforce Contacts and Leads).
Ultimately, you need to engage with the broader business on two things:

Thanks for your response here. I'm replying to you because I have a question in this same category. I'm trying to create a salesforce report to view Marketo data, using the salesforce platform because the rest of the org has visibility there.
Not looking for a super heavy data lift, just want to be able to evaluate very basic details of marketo leads by marketo campaign/smart list, etc.
s my best option to just create a campaign in salesforce for reporting purposes and sync the marketo smart list and/or program members to the salesforce campaign so I can then use the basic salesforce reports?
