Marketo to Marketo lead gen

Hi there,

Is it possible to connect a Marketo lead gen form to another organziation's Marketo lead gen form, so that data passes between the two? (So when a person fills out their info on our Marketo page and stores in our database, it automatically passes to the other organization's Marketo database, too).

Would this have something to do with the use of APIs? Or is something already built inside of Marketo that allows this, since it's pulling from Marketo and pushing to Marketo?

I think you'd have lots of issues with privacy policies and such. Not sure how that'd work.

Technically it can be done. I do not think it is supported by the Marketo product but can be done using API or HTTP post etc.
But as Kim correctly mentioned, you will have to make sure the 'privacy policies' etc are considered and approved by legal departments....

Currently, this is not directly possible. You would have to use the APIs or a server-side post to do this.

Hi Mariah-
You could send the data from FORM 1 (org 1) to ORG 2 via a Webhook.  ORG 2 would treat it like an inbound API submission (HTTP POST). Kim and Rajesh are correct that there are many privacy issues that could be easily violated - and you'd want both sides to be able to mark that data is a fashion that the other org has the data and which org originated the data (and date sourced etc).  You may also have to factor in a response call if the org has the person opted-out - and well as invalid/marketing suspended cases.
