Marketo MSI plugin shorten URL

Hello everyone,

Looking for a solution for my sales rep using the Marketo MSI Outlook plugin.

When he attempts to include a hyperlink via marketo tracking the URL when you hover over is long and ugly--basically looks like spam.

Is there a way to edit this?

Are you talking about the mkt_tok query parameter? 

This doesn't look like spam to any modern spam filter. It's just a long alphanumeric string in a query parameter, and the domain is clear to see (your branding domain).  And the mkt_tok has to exist at a certain point (i.e. even if shortened, it has to then be put back on the URL after expansion if the link is going to be tracked).

It's more spammy to use a link shortener, actually, since those (by definition) obfuscate the final destination of a link.

Hi Kristen, quick note on this feature: We have not shortened the URL. However, we recently released wrap text feature for hyperlinks in the email tab which improves the user experience. Hope this helps!
