What suggestions do you have for marketing pros who don't have access to a current Marketo instance, but want to learn?
Similarly, how do people who are between jobs stay in touch with the Marketo Community?
Any ideas appreciated.
Shannon,
Marketo's YouTube channel should offer a few videos that provide rudimentary navigation of the platform: Marketo - YouTube
Hi Shannon,
As Devraj Grewal mentions, the video platform is good for a grasp of rudimentary navigation - however a hand-on experience of working on instance is ultimately needed.
Though the community has it's immensity, there're various great resources, which are good to follow. To name a few,

Hope this helps!

Great suggestions, Balkar. Thanks!
My Marketo consultant pointed out that docs.marketo.com is open.
I will continue to keep an eye out, and hope others add suggestions. I think it can be a little disorienting if one is between workplaces and loses access to the Community.
Hi Shannon - Yes, doc.marketo.com is open, and is a great resource to begin the how-to steps Thanks!
Yes. That's been a great tool for internal use also. As we only have our Marketing team active in our instance, we often need to convey the functionality and best practices of our use to people in other departments, and have sent them links.
Shannon,
We make our Marketo training videos available for free at https://www.leadmd.com/marketplace/navigate. These have been assembled based on the best practices created as a result of over 3000 Marketo engagements.
Enjoy.

Wow, nice! Thanks.
Hi Shannon -
The MMI training is hands-on class room training in a Marketo instance - all the attendees get log-ins. I don't know when they are scheduling New York.
Here are their next events:
