Is there some of you who manage a PR list (journalists, bloggers, influencers,...) with Marketo?
I'm thinking of tracking bounces, clicks but also apply them product scoring, interest scoring in order to profile them. If you manage similar operations, I'd like to know what are your best do's and don'ts and favorite hips and tricks.
How about a contact type segmentation? E.g., Prospect / Customer / Partner / PR-Influencer
You could overlay this in reporting on top of your existing scoring models to identify who is engaged and to prioritize marketing outreach. This would be low effort and would help you gauge the benefit of doing it. I would try that before developing a custom model of some kind just for these folks.
