Managing Channel Partner Leads

Business Case: We need a solution to best manage our channel partner leads that we plan on funneling through via an online form on our website to Marketo to Salesforce and attaching to a campaign. The trouble is, the same individual who works at a certain channel partner will enter more than one lead per their unique email address along with several other fields from the form. Example below.

Lead 1: John Smith, (email: johnsmith@fake.com) from Channel Partner A, submits lead for Target

Lead 2: John Smith, (email: johnsmith@fake.com) from Channel Partner A, submits lead for Kenmore

Lead 3: John Smith, (email: johnsmith@fake.com) from Channel Partner A, submits lead for Whirlpool

What are some options, if any, to always have a unique lead record for every time the channel partner rep enters in a lead while using their own business email address? Knowing that the Marketo to Salesforce sync always relies on the unique email address, is there even a way to tackle this with some sort of automation?

Why are they entering the rep email as opposed to the lead email? Use a separate custom field for the partner email?

You should move this to Products​ (Move link at the right) as it's extremely Marketo-specific, ("Central" is for general marketing discush.)

As Chris says, one would expect the rep (referrer) to be entering their own address only once and then also add the email addresses for the leads (referrals),

In any case, as you'll see in other posts, you want the Referral Form pattern. It's a relatively simple setup and will result, in your example, in 3 new leads being created, as well as a Filled Out Form activity for the rep (reflecting their most recent referral(s)). A JS developer who understands the Marketo Forms API can build this for you.
