mail fields from external databasessql

Hello,

We have a question:

marketo does use data from external sql to create mailing?

for example:

the sql databse has two fields: text1, text2 (diferent deffault marketo's fields). we need dinamic send mail Embebed text 1 and text2.

Not directly, no. However, there are two ways to approach this:

Either send that data to Marketo ahead of time, as a list import or using the SOAP API, or use the Request Campaign API to pass us the values from that external DB when the mail is sent.
