Links in emails change when I send the email out, recently moved to a new domain

We just added a new primary domain to our instance since we are moving to a new domain as a company. Our consultants said it was ready to use. I tried sending emails out of it with links as a test. Even though the link may be www.example.com, what comes out when it is sent is go.example.com which breaks every single link. I am not sure why this is happening or how to fix it. We have a launch Monday and this really screws things up.

We're lacking a ton of info here.

  • What do you mean by "new primary domain"? LP domain or email tracking (branding) domain?  You can only have one Primary LP Domain with additional Domain Aliases.
  • There's nothing strange (in general) about links in Marketo emails being rewritten to bounce off your branding domain. That's how tracking works: the original destination might be https://www.example.com/some/page.html and Marketo rewrites it to go to https://go.example.com/123456 where 12456 is a random identifier. When the person clicks the tracked link, the click is logged and then the browser is immediately redirected to the original destination URL. Again, totally normal setup.
  • Please show the actual configuration/changes you made, with no ambiguity or use of somebody else's domain.
