We've just finish running a campaign test in a Smart Campaign flow where IF Random Sample is 50% Send Email A and default is Send Email B.
The goal of this test was to see if we could influence an activity within our product with this message, but the message action is not tied directly to the activity.
To ensure our results are valid, we only want to view the activity if it took place after they opened the email - our data science team has requested the time date stamp of the Open along with our internal user id which exists on the lead record to they can join that against the user's record in our data warehouse and see if they took the action.
Is it possible to export a report for a specific email that would show:
- Open Time Date Stamp
- Internal User ID
- Email Address
Hey Doug Meierdiercks - what you're probably looking for is the results tab of the smart campaign (View Smart Campaign Results - Marketo Docs - Product Docs ). You can export these results and pass them along to your data science team for review.
Hope that helps
Hi Grace - thanks, I hadn't thought of that. Alas - I can't seem to add our internal user_id as a field or filter out the other emails in that campaign flow without doing that manually outside of Marketo.
Hmmm. Unfortunately I can't think of a way that you could get all three of those required values (and only those three) to show in a single view without mapping the open timestamp to a field in the system and using that field as a column in a smart list - but this is tricky to achieve retrospectively.
You'll probably need to either see whether your data science team can match on email address, or combine the results export with a smart list export and vlookup the ID.
