A client has dupecatcher installed in SFDC. When a lead is already in the database- but is not cookied - and then does an action (fills out form), dupecatcher is catching the lead before it syncs to SFDC, and is not allowing the lead to enter SFDC. It creates an error notification in Marketo.
The problem is that the leads are not merging when they are found in SFDC. Is there an automated way to merge the leads when dupecatcher catches a duplicate being entered?
It sounds like there are records in SFDC that are not in Marketo, thus dupecatcher is finding dupes that are being entered. I haven't used it in a while, but there is an option somewhere to reduce the sensitivity or have it ignore lead insertion from some users or something like that.
