Is there a way I can update a list of leads in Marketo ?

Hello,

Is there a way I can update a list of leads in Marketo ? I have a list of leads who are already there in Marketo. Now, some of them exist as " Contacts" & some of them exist as "Leads" in Salesforce. So, I can't update the list in SFDC.

I was wondering if there is a way I can update the list in Marketo, based on their ID in Marketo, like the way we do in SFDC ??

You can update your list a couple of ways.

• If the changes are the same for all the leads and there are less than 2.5K leads, create a smart list using the "Email Address is" filter.  Click the green "+" symbol and paste the list of email addresses into the dialog box, then click OK.  Select all of the leads and then click the Lead Actions command, chose the Change Data Value flow action from the drop-down list and enter the name of the field and new value you want to use.
• Otherwise, use the Import List function with a CSV file that has the email address and changed fields of the leads you want to change.  You'll need to have a Static List created before you start the import to which you will "add" the leads.  I use a Static List called "Temp" that I then remove the leads from after such an update, so its ready for the next batch of imported lead changes.
