Invalid Credentials Error

Hi all,

I'm trying to connect ON24 to our Marketo account and when I enter the Client ID and Client Key provided by ON24 I'm getting an error that reads, "Invalid credentials found while checking history key". Anyone know if this is an ON24 error or something I'm missing in Marketo?

It says in the documentation that if you have issues with credentials, you should contact ON24 Support or your ON24 Account Rep.  I'm certain they'll be able to get this resolved soon πŸ™‚

Hi Rachel,

Have you viewed this user guide for ON24 for Marketo?  It may have something that will help you troubleshoot the issue with entering credentials.

Thanks for the link! I actually have seen that. After looking around in their help section and in Marketo's I was still confused about whether it seemed to be an error with the credentials provided by ON24 or with Marketo.

It is looking more and more like a problem with ON24. Hope to resolve soon!

One potential cauise is a duplicate email account in ON24.

So it turns out there was a mix up on all fronts!
 

ON24 recently went to a 5-digit client ID, but I was only given the first four digits. All the reference materials said a 4-digit ID so neither the Marketo tech support nor the ON24 support considered that it may have been the problem.

All fixed now!
