Installing Marketo SFDC Sync in a Salesforce Trusted IP environment

Hi all,

Hi anyone installed Marketo / SFDC sync in an environment where SFDC Trusted IP's is activated (meaning SFDC will only accept connexions from trusted IP's)?

  • Is there any specific step?
  • What would be Marketo IP addresses to set as trusted in SFDC ?

Thx for your help,

-Greg

Maybe this is a question for Support?

The email IP whitelists won't work most likely. Does SFDC have documentation on this issue?

Hi Josh,

Yes, I have planned to question support on this, but I just wanted to know if anyone had gone through it already.

And, you are right, IP white lists are probably useless here.

SFDC docs says that the API user profile can be granted the right to bypass IP restrictions, but I am not sure the customer will accept this...

Josh Hill is correct, if you open a case with support, they can assist you with a list of IP addresses.

The list will depend on your instance so there's no catch-all list.

Although I haven't seen this precise example, I have seen customers with MSD on premise filtering IPs through their firewall which I suspect would be a similar setup.
