When importing an excel list of contacts, the information in the field "Parent Company name' is not imported. Any idea? many thanks
Is the Parent Company Name field a CRM field? And is it associated with your CRM's Account object?
From personal experience...
We use Salesforce CRM and our Parent Company field is Account-level field.
Our Marketo-to-CRM Sync profile doesn't have the necessary permissions to write data to Account-level fields. Permission is set as Read Only in Salesforce.
So while you can attempt to import data into that field in Marketo, the values stored in your CRM will always overwrite what you import into Marketo...even if CRM value is empty.
