Images "not used by" if used in Email

Hello

I am going through my images and files and trying to get rid of old legacy images that we never ended up using. But it seems like even though some images are being used, in design studio it's telling me that it's not being used by anything.

Does anyone know if an image will only be noted as being "used by" if it is on a landing page? So if I'm using an image only on an email then in design studio it'll say that it's not being used by anything.

Thoughts?

Regardless of if it is on a landing page or in an email the feature should specify that it is in use. However, if an image is in use by an unnapproved email it will not show as being used.  As always,  I would suggest running a couple of tests to make sure this feature is working correctly before mass deleting assets.

I am also running into this problem for the same use case.  In researching I ran across this older discussion (https://community.marketo.com/MarketoDiscussionDetail?id=90650000000PSHyAAO) and if this is still accurate, then assets used in emails won't show.

Any idea whether or not this is in the works?  It would be really helpful in order to clena up our instance.
