We have a landing page with an image on it and an embedded marketo form over the image. In order to have the image work with the form/copy on all device types we need to resize the image and created different versions based on screen resolution. Third party said this: Usually we could have different images for mobile and desktop. Unfortunately, we've found that because of the use of the scripted code for the contact form, the form will actually appear as many times as the code is on the page, regardless of whether the code is in a module set not to display. Anyone have suggestions for fixing the duplicating form?
Please move the thread to Products (Move link at the right). This isn't a support space, it's for discussing the Champs incentive program.
You'll also want to link to your page as there's nothing we can do without it. Sounds to me like they don't understand how to program against the Marketo Forms API and are accidentally duplicating the form.
Thanks for info.
The landing page is not a Marketo page - its wordpress page where the form is a marketo embedded form. The third party is adept at wordpress and knows nothing about Marketo. Our Internal team embedded the form on the page. I don't have example with the duplicate forms because we didn't go live with it but I want to solve this so that we can use images with form over it and be able to create various versions that will work well with the image in different screen resolutions. Example of page: https://gtm.com/household/nanny-tax-payroll-after-lp/
You'll need to provide a page that does show the buggy behavior. It's not normal for the embed code to duplicate anything, so if your demo page doesn't have an error, how could we debug?
