I already know how to figure out who filled the form out by using a smart list/smart campaign. I also know how to view what questions they answered by altering my view. I also know how to export the data to a .csv.
What I'm wondering is - is that really it? Is there really not a nicer way to export that form data?
My company switched to Marketo from Constant Contact, and CC had a much nicer way of exporting that data. It showed aggregates of responses, and it was generally a lot cleaner and easier to read than a .csv file. Is there any way to do any kind of visual reporting with form data, like we can in Revenue Cycle Explorer with emails?
Thanks!
Hi Alex,
A very good point you are raising here. Marketo is not really good at this. Post the idea in the community, I'll vote
May be a need for a "form insight" tool?

We have a tool called email insights, have you seen this yet?
Hi Jamie,
It's great but it's is for emails, for for form field value stats
-Greg
Thats true, campaign insights will be released in the near future I hear
Great. Looking forward

It's true, the export feature is really just about it. You can also subscribe to reports and have them emailed to you.
Thanks for the info, Jamie! With the automatic report delivery, I know how you can do that for emails/link performance, etc, but does it work for form results? That automatic report might be good enough, if it's formatted like the other reports. I think the main thing we really want to see is aggregated results from surveys. Combing through the data on a .csv, especially when you have hundreds of respondents, can be rather time consuming.
I don;t believe that will be possible. I guess what you could do is use a numeric scale on the form values to get averages etc... instead of actual answers. You could even mask the numeric values in the form so answer A = 1, answer b = 2 etc... This just may be a different way for you to think about processing the form data after you get it. It may allow you to do more automated statistical analysis that way.
Im looking to build a report that pulls in data from form fields (not just number of people completed the reports)
So far I can get a field's data by grouping by that field, but cant see everything in a simple way.
Frustrating.
