How do YOU track engagement program responses in SFDC?

When it comes to nurturing, I have always tracked reponses using SFDC campaigns. Historically, I had a SFDC campaign per track (Awareness, Consideration, Preference), bt now that I am going to start nurturing using Engagemet Programs, I am wondering what is the best way to track responses in SFDC?

I will have about 5 emails in each stream and 3 stream in total. Should I track responses with one SFDC campaign per email? One SFDC campaign per stream?

You could create a custom engagement channel and have statuses like you suggest.

I was thinking of something like what you had.

-Nurturing
-Engaged
-Promoted = Success (or Opportunity)

or you could do this more like Lead > Interest > Consideration > Engaged > Opportunity
