hiding old email templates?

is there a way to deactivate or hide old email templates from showing up when creating new emails?

but you can't unapprove a template if assets are using it, correct?

for example, i have an old email template thats been used over 500 times, but that was from years ago.

Have you considered archiving outdated programs that are no longer active?

What is the main concern here? You do not want users to select an outdated template when creating a new email?

1. You could create a new folder under Email Templates in the design studio, naming it "Outdated Templates" and move your old templates to that folder, so they are organized in that way when users go to select a new template.
2. You could consider renaming the outdated templates to something along the lines of "OUTDATED -- Template Name". Depending on the number of Email Templates this affects, could be very time-consuming.
