Just something extra to think about as you set this up: If you're truly looking for goals, it's actually going to be hard to work backward from an event for a goal conversion funnel. If you're on a single-page setup, this gets even more messy. In addition (or in lieu) to your event, you really should write a faux hit for the conversion itself; that will allow you to work backwards using GA's built-in functions. Otherwise you're stuck doing modeling outside of GA's own reporting--doable, but a pain. This also has the double effect of being able to send the faux URL back to Marketo if you need to (if you're doing the cookied conversion method especially.)
