Wondering if anyone has thoughts on the Google Sender Guidelines posted that those sending to 5000 or more google accounts have to comply to by 2/1/2024.
We are reviewing our email sends to ensure we are compliant to all of the requirements before then. One thing that has come up is the one click unsubscribe. Currently we have a subscription preference center, and are hesitant to use the one-click link broadly as we have seen email tester software scanning our emails and links which inflates email metrics as is. We don't want to add inaccurate unsubscribes to the mix as well. Marketo hasn't offered a solution or work around and states these google guidelines haven't came up yet. Curious if others are aware/can weigh in here if experiencing similar.

More information is in this thread ... but the Gmail requirements refer to the list-unsubscribe in the header, not a link in the body of an email -- so you shouldn't be seeing link checkers clicking that.
