Hi there,
I am looking for some Google Analytics advice. We append all the urls in our emails with campaign, source, and medium so they'll be identified as email traffic in Analytics. However, I cannot find traffic for a specific url that happens to be a pdf, though I know from Marketo that it has been clicked many times. Has anyone had this problem or are they familiar with using Google Analytics tags in Marketo emails? Maybe there is a better way to do it.

Hi Meredith,

I'm not sure if this answers your question, but we haven't seen a way to report on pdf views within Google Analytics.

So even if it isn't gated content, we use a thank you page or download page where they can download the file from there. Then we can just track those pages in GA and see how many have viewed that thank you page per email campaign.
