Hi guys,
Is there a way I can add a iCal (.ics) to my confirmation email of my Webinar?
We integrate with Go to Webinar but send the emails through Marketo.
Thanks!
JP
Solved! Go to Solution.
The test will have the default value. You might want to register yourself and create a smart campaign for the conf email that only you receive if you are concerned about this working properly.
You bet, just create an ical my token for the webinar program. More info here: Understanding My Tokens in a Program - Marketo Docs - Product Docs
Yes, but if I need to have the webinar link that is unique to the user, it doesn't seem to work.
I created the Calendar token and added the webinar.url as a token in the description.
When I tested it, the iCal didn't have the proper link but the default value.
Sorry, should have given this information in my initial comment.
Cheers
JP
You are able to using the {{member.webinar url}} token.
Yes, when I put it directly in the email, it works. Just not in the iCal.
iCal is the only place where tokens within tokens work but only for the event tokens.
Ok, so this would only work as an approved email + a new lead registering?
Yes, as long as the lead is a member of the program with status "Registered" the token will fill in the details of the URL.
Thank you! That worked! You are now officially a Marketo-goddess in my book.
