Glossary for Filters, Triggers and Flow?

I'm looking for a glossary or dictionary of all the filters, triggers and flow options so I can better utilize my strategy/plan of attack.  I'm new to Marketo, but well versed in automation, I just need better definitions behind the identifiers so I can layout my workflow better.

Thanks Josh! I just had to send a screenshot of your glossary to a Marketo Customer Support rep who told me that if a smart list contains both a trigger and a filter that leads with go through that meet either the trigger criteria or the filter criteria but not both...
