Global program report that can be exported?

Good day everyone! We have been exporting individual program reports to combine this with data that is outside of Marketo. This obviously isn't scaling super well as our activities grow.

I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to create a centralized report showing all program engagements and associated program status values (and the program name) that occurred in a date range. This would provide us with a single report to export.

Re: Global program report that can be exported?

Marketo's Program performance analytics report cannot bring in the email address column in the report (as this report was never meant to give you insight into the individuals, but rather provide an aggregated program performance view).

You could instead set up a people performance report for this as follows:

-> Create smart lists with Member of Program Status is <channel-status name> for all the available status values in program channels that you want to report on.

-> Use the smart lists as custom columns in the report (you could only add up to 10 custom columns per report so you'd have to create multiple reports, preferably one for each channel).

-> Group the people performance report by Email Address

-> Use the report's smart list filters if you want to filter the results.

You could also use the Program Membership Analysis report available in the Revenue Cost Explorer (RCE) or the bulk program member export API to get the program member details along with their program status values.

Re: Global program report that can be exported?

You could create a Program Performance analytics report and in the setup tab -

-> Select the programs (or campaign folder housing all the programs that you'd like to report on)

-> Pull the Channel filter

-> Select the channel you'd want to include

-> check-mark the "Show program status columns".

You'd need to report individually on each of the program channels of interest, but I guess this is better than your existing approach of exporting and piecing together the program metrics for each program. I hope this is helpful. Please let us know if you have questions.

Re: Global program report that can be exported?

Thank you for the suggestion. We had gotten this far, and this is great to check the performance of programs, but unless I'm mistaken this doesn't allow us to list the leads that were part of the programs, or their actions.

For the work we're trying to do, we need the member's information (at least the email address and his program status per program). The email address becomes the key to combine with other segmentation information not in Marketo.
