We are wanting to send out emails in the following schedule –
Friday AM – Email to group #1 (aprox. 15,000 leads)
Monday PM - Email to group #2(aprox. 1500)
Tuesday AM - Email to group #3 (aprox. 2500)
Wednesday AM - Email to group #1 (15,000)
Thursday AM - Email to group #4 (aprox. 2959, segmented by title)
I am unsure as to the overlap of leads in each group.
I would like to know best practices, and why we might not want to send emails on sequential days?
Thank you for any assistance!
Are you sending a sequence of emails to each group (IE: Group 1 will receive a 2 different creatives)? There are a couple ways you could approach based on behavior. I would say early on you might not yet have data to determine what the optimum frequency or cadence is for your customer-base - so testing might be a big benefit. More than happy to elaborate / collaborate on thoughts / ideas.
Thanks! Group 1 has little to no segmentation. We send a newsletter or alert regarding upcoming webinars to this group. The other groups are segmented and therefore we are sending targeted business messages re: events, solutions etc. to 2, 3, and 4. Would be interested to know what sort of testing you would recommend.
