Hello,
I am trying to transition all of the forms that we have on our website (they are currently pardot forms) to be
marketo forms.
I have figured out how to create
forms but I can’t quite figure out how to link them to our website. Is this
something that I need to work with our website designer on or should I be able
to create them and link them?

Hi Taylor,
All of Marketo's forms will provide you with an embed code that your developer can use to place the form on an external page once it's approved. You can find this code by clinking on any form and then choosing Form Actions at the top. You'll just need to copy/paste the embed code and send it to your developer.
If you're placing the forms on a Marketo landing page, just open the page in the editor and drag/drop the form.

Look here for the embed code:
Perfect thank you so much! Is there anything that I need to do so that I am alerted when a form is filled out?
Will I need to create a smart campaign for that?
Good call, yes: create a SC that triggers on the Filled Out Form action (and whatever other constraints and filters apply).
Yes, you would need to create a trigger campaign with a Filled Out Form trigger.
Choose which forms you want the trigger to fire from, or choose the "is any" option from the dropdown in the trigger, set your flow up with a Send Alert flow step, choose an alert email and what addresses it will be sent to within the flow step, and then activate the campaign. Once that's all done your campaign will react to the form fill outs.
